Keeping up with Business!

Thats an old school song, thinking of old school songs- that is what I absolutely love about wedding receptions-the music!

Summer of 69, Patio Lantern etc all the goodies come out. My parents used to play these songs relentlessly that and Reba McEntire and Eddie Rabbit.

Moving on I have been busy redecorating, shooting and prepping for some birthdays this year- of course my little one is going to be turning one in a month and my husband's birthday is only a few short days later. It will surely be a great time to celebrate.

I shot a sibling/family session today and had quite the time, this little girl is a sweetie and during the session she even was so kind to teach us all how to swim using her WHOLE body!

So I have been really crazy lately, not posting and feeling like I have fallen off the edge of the earth, partially I do worry that I won't say the right thing or divulge too much information so, keeping it only a tad personal just have been going through a lot in my personal life but also keeping super busy with work and being a full time mum!

So please have mercy on my lack of blogging self!

I have known baby Gracyn's mom since High-school so coming home it was really nice to reconnect and to share the new joys of motherhood and of course get some pictures of this little angel!

Come to think of it....

Many of you know I have been quite busy lately, running around like a mad woman- I was in Ontario doing shoots and visiting family for 3 weeks and now myself and our little one have returned to the cold to be greeted by a busy-work filled week and a sick baby! So needless to say- I know, I know I always have a reason but I have yet again fallen behind on getting to the postings, However I am going to do my best to do some updating right now:

I'm getting better

Its been a crazy weekend but I am starting to get excited about the many things that will be changing in 2009! Thats right 2009! I truly will try my hardest to at least update the blog once a week! Today I met with a lovely bride to be Marianne, I simply cannot wait for her wedding in June- its going to be stunning, fun and earthy, needless to say I am so excited! 

Tomorrow I will be packing for my trip to Ontario- where I will be picking up my New Canon EOS 5D and my new L lens the 70- 200 mm !! That will be an awesome day for me, as I try out my new camera and slowly make the switch to Canon- I have strictly been a Nikon Girl since I started the business.
